I honestly can’t think of a time when a famous person’s death would have made me cry. Sad, sure, but I don’t think I’ve ever cried over someone I didn’t personally know..

But with the news about Naya I’m absolutely bawling my eyes out. It feels strange, I never even knew her, this isn’t my personal loss, this isn’t about me.. but it speaks to how important her work was. How much it means what she did, what she gave us in Santana.

This hits so much harder because she meant so much more
